About the Artist: Ellie Brems
Ellie is a contract pattern maker and technical designer. After graduating from Kent State University in 2019 with a Fashion Design degree, she developed a strong foundation working for Weissman Dancewear and Summersalt in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Returning back to Ohio in 2023, she developed her own contracting business, becoming proficient with CLO3D software and advancing her technical design and fitting skills. She has helped build block libraries and grade rules for women's, men's, and children's wear.
Ellie is the technical wizard behind bringing ideas for garments to life. When not doing this, she can be found indoor rock climbing with her partner or snuggled with her cats and a good book.
