Here’s where I need to tell you who I am, which is a hard thing to do.
This is important because Synaptex Studios is about connections - I want you to become a part of our community of artists and thinkers, two sides of the same coin.
I’m a neurologist dedicated to expanding access to care for patients in Northern Michigan.
I’m a nerd, a Petoskey stone finder, a tea drinker, and a listener.
I’m often good at picking out presents and usually get too many flowers to plant in the spring.
I’m still deciding what to be when I grow up.
The upcoming launch of Synaptex Studios is the culmination of decades of ideas, pulled together over two years of work with input from many really great people, to provide you with clothing that’s interesting and professional, connecting art and science to support the creative spark in all our brains.
I have lots of stories to share about the process (very long), the decisions (so many), the artists (amazingly talented), and the fashion industry (overall befuddling); I hope you'll join the community to hear more.
